Ashley was born two months ahead of schedule, and weighed about 3lbs. Ashley was admitted to ICU for one month. She was informed by her parents at the time of Christmas Day that she was going to undergo heart surgery. Her parents' prayers were answered on Christmas Day when they went to the doctors and learned that Ashley's heart was closed. Ashley did not require any procedures. She was released to go home with a weight of 4 1/2 pounds following being admitted to hospital for two months. Her health is improving. Her father's ancestry is English and German. Her mother is Irish. In 2002, Ashley was first noticed in an advertisement in The Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley was then approached by The Ford Modeling Agency at the age of eight. She worked steadily in print and continues to work for the Agency. It was her love of acting from the time she was just 10 years old. Ashley went on to do 35 commercials and later on to theatrical roles. It was her main passion to act. Ashley's focus shifted to acting. It was a little difficult to find time for dancing and modeling. Ashley's most recent appearance is "Hanna Marin" in ABC's Pretty Little Liars (2010). Ashley also had a cameo as Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and Solange's music video for her track "True Love". Britney Spears appeared during the Vogue Magazine shoot. In the NLT music video for "That Girl", she appears.
